Both of my dogs have profiles on Dogster.com. The registration process was easy and the website has many great features. This website has everything; you can look up information on dog breeds, there are blogs and forums, dog photos, and local community information.

I searched the web for pet loss and came across some websites that I think would be helpful to pet owners. One of them is www.petloss.com, this website has message boards, a chat room, and the Monday Pet Loss Candle Ceremony. Another website, www.aplb.org The Association for Pet Loss and Bereavement, has links to information on pet loss, and you can post a memorial. I'm not sure if these are well known organizations. I would recommend these websites to others because they seem to be very informational and supportive.

Post # 72 Pet Health Online

According to DogAge my dog Sasha who is 6 years old is 33 years old in people years. She is 8.2 years younger than the average DogAge for her breed. I learned that since she is over 6 years old I should take her to the vet twice a year instead of only once a year.

I took the pet picker quiz and it said a cat would be right for me. I don't think my dogs would be very happy with me if I got a cat. I tried Petfinder and Pet Harbor to search for adoptable pets and found both of these websites to be a great resource. I will definitely use one of these websites the next time I am looking for a pet.
